About Sue Peace

Sue Peace BSc, MEd, AMBDA, SpLDAPC, KFRP

Sue Peace is a Licensed Brain Gym® Consultant and Instructor and teaches in primary and secondary schools in Wales (U.K.) as a literacy and numeracy support teacher. She is a specialist Mathematics/Numeracy teacher for the Miles Dyslexia Centre, Bangor University, Wales (U.K).and also an accredited assessor of Specific Learning Difficulties.

An experienced teacher who has taught mathematics at all levels in primary and secondary schools in Wales (U.K.) , she presently trains teachers, classroom assistants and parents in Educational Kinesiology (Brain Gym®) methods to use with recipients who have dyscalculia, dyslexia or dyspraxia tendencies. Sue is the creator of the “Kinesiology 4 Numeracy” programme that has recently been accredited by Brain Gym International. This program is designed specifically to use with people of all ages who have specific difficulties in learning mathematics and understanding numeracy.

Dyscalculia, dyslexia and dyspraxia are her main fields of expertise and she has researched methods of ‘Moving and Learning’ through the system of Brain Gym® having completed a higher degree in this field at Bangor in 2006. Sue’s dissertation.

The study follows the development of 4 pupils taught by Sue. A detailed account of teaching plans for each student are given in Chapters 4, 5, 6 and 7.
