Dyscalculia
There was a time when problems with mathematical skills were not recognised as a neurological condition – those individuals who struggled with numracy and maths were, to be frank, considered stupid. Thankfully those days are long gone.
Those who strugle with mathematics often have other conditions to manage such as: number blindness, memory limitations, weak auditory and visual processing skills, poor personal organisation skills, inadequate language skills or co-ordination challenges.
